Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov put up for sale almost half of the stake nets.
Russian businessman, owner of the Brooklyn nets Mikhail Prokhorov said that has exposed on sale of 49% stake in the club, reports R-Sport. The buyer has not been found yet.
“For sale 49% of shares of Brooklyn, while this process goes on, looking for a buyer,” – said Prokhorov.
The Russian businessman became the owner of a controlling stake in the club in 2009, and in 2015 he completed a deal to buy all shares in nets. The team value was estimated at 875 million dollars, the arena club is at 825 million. In December 2016, it became known that Prokhorov is looking for a minority investor for Brooklyn.
