Andriy Shevchenko has told about plans of preparation for the qualifying match of the 2018 world Cup qualifier against Finland.
Head coach of Ukrainian football Andriy Shevchenko in an interview Football.ua told when the team will gather to prepare for the qualifying match for the 2018 world Cup against Finland, which will host the training, and why as an opponent selected the national team of Malta.
“The team will gather in early June, on June 5, we have scheduled a friendly game against Malta. It will be held in Austria, the opponents wanted to meet on neutral ground.
After the game we will stay in Austria, where we’ll spend the time in preparation for the game with the Finns, and then we’ll go to Finland for the match.
We are constantly negotiating relatively friendly matches, but someone is not satisfied with our date, someone can’t we adjust the internal calendar. Malta was OK for us.
This command is similar to our rival Finland, they play in a protective manner, a lot of time in their half, a little miss. It is well organized and disciplined team. During this match we will be able to simulate the official game”, – said Shevchenko.
We should add that the qualifiers for the 2018 world Cup Finland — Ukraine will be held June 11 in Tampere.
